Role Description


• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (e.g., corporate income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other applicable taxes).


• Maintain compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations, including any updates or changes.


• Oversee the reconciliation of tax accounts and ensure accurate reporting in financial statements.


• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.


• Provide tax-efficient solutions for business initiatives and new investments.


• Lead, train, and develop a team of tax professionals.


• Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.


• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax audits.


• Address and resolve any tax-related disputes with authorities.


• Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business processes.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree of commerce – accounting section.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.


• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).


• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.


• Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.


• Diploma in financial accounting and taxes


• In-depth knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax.
