Title:

Calibration Engineer for Calibration Laboratory.

Job Purpose:

To perform and manage calibration, verification, and testing activities related to temperature, pressure, mass measuring instruments, PH and conductivity and so on. in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

Technical Activities

  1. Perform calibration of instruments and devices in the fields and onsite.
  2. Ensure measurement traceability to national and international standards (SI units).
  3. Apply and follow documented calibration procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are updated and controlled.
  4. Record and analyze calibration data, perform uncertainty calculations, and prepare calibration certificates.
  5. Perform periodic intermediate
    checks.
  6. Understanding of metrology principles, traceability, and measurement uncertainty (GUM method).
  7. Ensure all calibration records, reports, and certificates comply with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Clause 7.8 (Reporting of Results).
  8. Proficiency in MS Excel or software used for uncertainty and calibration data processing.
  9. Good command of English (reading standards, documentation, and reports).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of
    Practical experience in calibration laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025,
