Multinational company is currently #hiring an Entry-level #Lead_Prep_Maintenance_Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Prep Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and optimization of wire preparation equipment used in the production of automotive wiring harnesses. In this key leadership role, you will ensure equipment reliability, support production efficiency, and uphold the highest automotive quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians supporting cutting, stripping, crimping, sealing, and terminal-processing equipment.


• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production schedules.


• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues across all prep-area machinery.


• Analyze equipment performance, conduct root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.


• Ensure equipment compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.


• Support audits, maintain proper documentation, and manage calibration and machine capability records.


• Optimize prep processes to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and increase machine reliability.


• Train maintenance staff on equipment operation, safety, and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics.


• 2+ years of maintenance experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing preferred.


• 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.


• Strong knowledge of wire processing and crimping equipment, applicators, tooling, and testing devices.


• Experience with PLCs, servo systems, sensors, and machine calibration.


• Understanding of IATF 16949 and automotive customer-specific requirements.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Should be Cairo / Ismailia residential as the work will be at 10th of Ramadan.
