Company Description

Sidra Egypt offers regular container line services with brand new owned containers, owned and chartered vessels between Turkey, Libya, Egypt, and Russia. The rotation includes Alexandria Old Port, Benghazi, Misurata, Istanbul, Izmit, Aliaga (Izmir Area), and Novorossiysk. Sidra Egypt aims to provide reliable and efficient shipping solutions tailored to the needs of the market.

Job Objective:
Work to attract new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers to achieve sales targets and increase business volume in the field of maritime shipping and logistics services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Seek new customers in the field of export and import and expand the customer base.
  • Provide competitive quotes and shipping solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Follow up on the implementation of shipping operations with the operations and documentation departments to ensure quality service.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
  • Monitor market and competitor movements and submit periodic reports to management.
  • Attend periodic meetings and prepare sales and performance reports.
  • Coordinate with the pricing and customer service team to ensure efficient execution of deals.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and events related to the field of shipping and logistics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A suitable university degree (preferably in commerce, business administration, or logistics).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales within a shipping or logistics company.
  • Good knowledge of FCL, LCL, Freight Forwarding, and Customs Clearance services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM
    programs.
