Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team full-time on-site in Giza. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products by executing test plans, identifying bugs, collaborating with developers, and maintaining test documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for mobile apps and websites based on business requirements.
  • Perform different types of testing (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, usability, etc.).
  • Write clear and detailed bug reports and test scenarios.
  • Execute and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, or FitNesse.
  • Perform API and web services testing.
  • Conduct heavy and performance testing (experience with JMeter is a plus).
  • Participate in release cycles, planning, and sprint reviews with developers and QA team.
  • Document testing activities, defects, and test outcomes clearly.
  • Continuously update testing practices and tools based on latest trends and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Solid knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience with mobile and web testing is mandatory.
  • Automation testing experience is a must.
  • Strong skills in writing test plans, scenarios, and cases.
  • Solid experience in API testing and performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to new tools and technologies.
