Our partner is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead the development of a scalable and robust Fee Calculator platform. This solution will process and model complex transactional data from multiple sources and support rule-based logic for fee evaluation. If you're passionate about building high-impact financial software, this role offers a unique opportunity to design an end-to-end solution from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a scalable "Fee Calculator" software solution, covering both front-end and back-end components, including logging, auditing, and multi-level user access.
  • Build and maintain data transformation pipelines capable of handling high-volume transactional inputs.
  • Develop rule-based engines to model and evaluate parameters such as scheme fees and interchange structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple data sources and ensure high accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial data standards, validation protocols, and secure data handling.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience working in financial data engineering, card scheme analytics, or similar domains.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development using frameworks such as .NET, Java, or Python.
  • Experience in building and maintaining data transformation pipelines.
  • Exposure to card operations systems or financial transaction platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with complex and large data sets.
  • Ability to map transactional data from various systems to create efficient operational models.
  • Understanding of banking and financial services, particularly card operations.
  • Understanding of interchange logic, merchant category codes (MCC), transaction lifecycle stages, and enhanced data submission.
