Job Description:

As a Quality Control Engineer at viggoVet, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products for the medical industry. Leveraging your experience with Selenium automation testing, you will collaborate closely with our development team to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automated testing using Selenium.

Conduct rigorous regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements across various platforms.

Identify, document, and track software defects with detailed steps to reproduce and verify fixes.

Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and ensure product quality.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance and testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Quality Control Engineer or similar role in the software industry.

Strong proficiency in automated testing tools, particularly Selenium.

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience working with software for the medical field is highly desirable.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
