We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Payable
Accountant
Section Head
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee the full Accounts Payable cycle, lead the AP team, and ensure all payment processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete Accounts Payable cycle.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving complex discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and review Fixed Assets-related tasks.
  • Review payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CMA or IFRS are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of the full AP cycle.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems;
    Odoo
    is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
