Job Summary:

The Senior Business Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, optimizing, and implementing business processes across the organization to improve efficiency, quality, and performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, automate workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead process redesign initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, BPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Map and document "as-is" and "to-be" processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into actionable process enhancements.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor process effectiveness.
  • Implement digital transformation or automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, workflow tools, or ERP process optimization).
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to embed process excellence and change management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior process engineers and guide teams in process improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years
    of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operations optimization.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional process transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi, Lucidchart).
  • Familiarity with RPA, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), or workflow automation technologies.
  • Certifications preferred:
    Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt
