We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This position plays a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships that drive growth and enhance our competitive position in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids for upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets client expectations.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and contract negotiations.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and securing new projects through effective relationship building.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
