We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Odoo Developer Intern to join our technical team. This internship provides hands-on experience in customizing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Odoo ERP framework. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a passion for programming, business processes, and open-source technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customization and Development: Assist senior developers in customizing existing Odoo modules using Python and Odoo's proprietary framework.
  • Front-end Development: Work on improving user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) within Odoo using XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Module Installation & Configuration: Participate in the installation, configuration, and testing of new Odoo modules and features.
  • Bug Fixing: Support the team in identifying, documenting, and resolving bugs within the existing Odoo system and custom modules.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to new code, changes, and configurations.
  • Data Migration: Assist with basic data migration and data cleanup tasks using external tools or Python scripts.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and provide clear progress updates to the project manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Programming Fundamentals: Strong foundational knowledge of Python is essential.
  • Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Self-Motivation: A high degree of motivation, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior exposure to the Odoo framework (e.g., academic project or self-study).
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
  • Basic understanding of ERP concepts (Sales, Inventory, Accounting).
