Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt for a Structural Façade Designer. The role involves designing and developing innovative façade systems, producing detailed design and shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to identify technical solutions, conduct structural analysis, and effectively integrate façade systems into projects. Additionally, responsibilities include preparing and reviewing project documentation, participating in client meetings, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in alignment with project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Structural Design, Façade System Design, and knowledge of façade materials and systems
  • Experience with BIM tools and methodologies such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong expertise in producing Shop Drawings and interpreting technical specifications
  • Ability to conduct structural analysis and solve technical challenges in façade engineering
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for teamwork with architects, engineers, and clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with construction standards, regulations, and safety practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; master's degree is a plus
  • Previous experience in the construction industry or façade design projects is highly advantageous
