Description:

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on-site, ensuring they meet project standards and specifications
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and sequencing of finishing tasks.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of finishing work such as plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, false ceilings, and joinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all finishing activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of finishing works.
  • Monitor the progress of finishing activities, addressing any issues or delays, and providing regular updates to the project manager.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues related to finishes, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports on finishing works.
  • Ensure adherence to budget and timelines, optimizing resource use where possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a focus on finishing works in commercial construction preferably in hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
