The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices, complemented by exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. The candidate must be a highly skilled professional with proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and a solid understanding of industry practices and tools to join our dynamic team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this role will require working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, tenants, service provider/contractors and stakeholders. Additionally, the ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks is crucial for success in this position. Job Description:The role requires a detail-oriented MEP Coordinator to serve as the main point of contact between tenants, design professionals, contractors, and building management throughout the fit-out process and ongoing operations. The successful candidate will assist in the comprehensive review of MEP drawings for retail and office spaces, ensuring compliance with the latest regional and international codes as well as the mall's design criteria. This role involves coordinating and monitoring the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while adhering to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The MEP Coordinator will schedule and conduct inspections and examination of MEP systems to verify compliance with design and regulatory requirements. Proactive problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving MEP-related issues or conflicts, with a focus on achieving timely resolutions and minimizing impacts on project timelines.
