As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs and ensuring efficient financial control within construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for construction projects
  • Analyze project documentation, including drawings and specifications, to determine material and labor costs
  • Track project expenditures and provide regular reports to project managers
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Conduct value engineering and risk assessments
  • Maintain updated records of project costs and changes
  • Assist in preparing tender submissions and proposals
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation processes and practices
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently
  • Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
