Will be responsible for:

  • Manage and maintain enterprise IT systems, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and business-critical applications.
  • Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure optimal performance and system security.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  • Implement, enforce, and continuously improve IT security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and apply appropriate mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Provide advanced (Level 3) technical support for complex and escalated incidents.
  • Mentor and guide junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems support overall business goals and operations.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies that enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications may substitute for formal education.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems administration.
  • Proven experience with Windows servers, cloud platforms and virtualization.
  • Certifications (preferred), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AWS Certified Sy sops ,Administrator CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or Splunk.
  • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
