is an AI-powered EdTech platform helping students prepare for IELTS with real Cambridge tests and instant AI scoring.

We're seeking a 
QA Engineer
 to join our growing team and ensure our platform delivers a flawless experience for learners across the Gulf region.

In this role, you'll 
combine the responsibilities of Quality Assurance (process design), Quality Control (product inspection), and Testing (execution)
 — ensuring every release meets both technical accuracy and user experience excellence.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Review user stories and technical requirements to identify potential risks or unclear behaviors.
  • Create and execute 
    test plans, cases, and scenarios
     for web and mobile features.
  • Conduct 
    manual functional, usability, and regression testing
     of new features (Exam modules, AI scoring, Dashboards).
  • Report, reproduce, and track defects through 
    ClickUp or Jira
    , ensuring timely resolution.
  • Validate data accuracy in AI-generated results and reports.
  • Collaborate with Developers, UX Designers, and Product Managers to maintain high quality during each sprint.
  • Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports for each release cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • +2 years of experience in 
    QA/QC or software testing
     (preferably SaaS or EdTech).
  • Familiarity with 
    Agile testing workflows
     and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Postman.
  • Understanding of 
    web and mobile app testing
     fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of 
    test case design
    , 
    defect life cycle
    , and 
    release validation
    .
  • Strong communication and analytical skills; able to think from a user's perspective.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of 
    automation frameworks
     (Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
  • Experience testing 
    AI-based or speech-recognition products
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    API testing
     and performance validation.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well in cross-functional teams.
  • Organized, curious, and proactive in improving quality processes.
