KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Budget Planning and Monitoring

  • Assist in preparation of capacity planning for IT resources, yearly budget
  • Collecting and analysis of Enterprise Applications yearly requirements, during budget exercise.
  • Assist in preparing RFP and vendor/ offering evaluation for new systems or system change/enhancement.
  • Participate in developing Implementation team's goals and define team' objectives.
  • Participating in Vendors and outsourced Service/individuals selection decision to secure service maintenance and/or delivery.

Technology Solutions Management

  • Manages systems/applications implementation for new banking systems (also modifications, interfaces, data migration), and all related new Enterprise Applications.
  • Review overall design for all changes (Projects/CRs) to ensure their compliance with IT architecture guide lines.
  • Review Design documents presented from vendors to ensure business requirement are incorporated and design is agile, scalable and compliant with ADIB standards.
  • Perform gap analysis for business requirement and guide team to find best solution to meet these requirements.

People Management

  • Setting the team annual goals, associate KPI for all goals and measure them in various appraisals.
  • Leading subordinate teams: Enterprise Applications implementation; to achieve IT annual plan and meet customer expectations.
  • Managing team capacity plan and delivery pipeline to ensure sustained service level for running services and timely delivery for the ones under development. This includes alignment with business team, prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Constructing Development plans for team members including training plans, coaching and on job consultancy; to ensure team is equipped with the required capabilities for the job.
  • Communicate job expectations to subordinates
  • Ensure existence of backup/successor for each function.
  • Maintain staff vacation, calendar

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.SC computer science or computer engineering
  • 9+ years of experience of which 3 years as team leader in SW development / implementation.
  • Solid experience in banking/ bank applications in a large scale banking system implementations. Have previous experience working on banking applications support role or a large scale banking system implementations and troubleshooting.

  • proven record of translate business requirements into technical design, and successfully deliver code based on technical design documents.
