Key Responsibilities:

Strong IT background in different aspects (network, security, operating system, cloud management)

Manage and maintain geospatial systems, including hardware, software, and data storage to ensure they are functioning optimally and meeting organizational needs.

Understand ArcGIS Enterprise Federation and Hosting Servers.

Strong hands-on in configuring ArcGIS Enterprise, joining sites, HA Portal for ArcGIS, HA ArcGIS Datastores, and ArcGIS Image Server.

Strong hands-on in using ArcGIS Pro and publishing map/feature services.

Strong hands-on in installing and configuring ArcGIS License Manager with ArcGIS Pro

Understanding of ArcGIS Pro licenses and differences between different types (SU, CU, Named User).

Connect and communicate with different IT teams to discuss infrastructure requirements and make sure all prerequisites are ready.

Hands on experience with installing and configuring ArcGIS Enterprise in different deployment patterns.

Understanding system architecture and following best practices in system deployment

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design and develop geospatial applications and tools.

Provide technical support for geospatial systems and applications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors and IT staff to resolve technical issues.

Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in geospatial systems and

applications.

  • Conduct spatial analysis using different sets of techniques to support business

decisions, identify patterns and trends, and solve complex problems.

  • Deep knowledge in Web Map Services, RESTful APIs & integration is a plus.

  • Troubleshoot and investigate system issues and address issues in a timely

manner

  • Receiving user's complaints about system issues and performance trying to

resolve.

  • Maintain operating system updates regularly considering not interrupting the

business or other system components.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive backup strategy for ArcGIS Enterprise

components (Portal, Server and Data Store)

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.

· years of experience in GIS system administration or enterprise GIS support. technical support, or support engineer using ArcGIS Enterprise

·       Strong knowledge with ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Datastore,

·       ArcGIS Web Adaptor, and other products

·       Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, and network administration.

·       Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

· Strong knowledge with ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Datastore,

ArcGIS Web Adaptor, and other products

·       Good knowledge in relational database systems and geodatabases
