Role Overview
You will will oversee and support all operational aspects of the MISHMASH online store. This includes product creation, content accuracy, order management, customer service assistance, analytics, and platform improvements. The ideal candidate understands
Shopify
,
Excel
, and e-commerce best practices, and is proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to grow within a fast-moving startup.
Key Responsibilities1. Shopify Store Management
- Create, edit, and upload new products (images, pricing, metafields, SEO titles/descriptions, sizes, conditions, categories).
- Maintain accurate stock levels and product statuses.
- Ensure consistent quality of product listings (naming, tagging, categorization, conditions).
- Manage Shopify automations, apps, and integrations (Klaviyo, , TinyIMG, , Entrupy, etc.).
- Support with theme updates, basic Liquid adjustments, and troubleshooting.
2. Operations & Catalog Accuracy
- Ensure products are reviewed, sanitized, inspected, and uploaded in correct categories.
- Create and maintain weekly upload schedules and seller pipeline sheets.
- Track inventory movement: new arrivals, sold items, returns, payouts.
- Maintain clean data and structured naming conventions on all sheets and Shopify.
3. Excel & Data Tracking
- Manage and update the
MISHMASH Master Inventory Sheet
and seller tracking sheets. - Prepare weekly and monthly reports (sales, inventory, customer behavior, seller onboarding, product performance).
- Analyze SKU performance and trends to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate SKUs, prices, commissions, statuses, and collection assignments.
4. Order Fulfillment & Customer Support
- Coordinate with operations team for pickups, deliveries, returns, and exchange workflows.
- Monitor orders and ensure smooth fulfillment cycles.
- Assist in resolving customer issues (order status, returns, fit guidance, product questions).
- Maintain fast, professional responses across Shopify Inbox, WhatsApp, Instagram, and email.
5. Marketing Support
- Support in preparing product lists for ads (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Shopping).
- Assist with tagging products to correct collections for campaigns.
- Support creative team with product images, specs, and collection curation.
- Help build landing pages and merchandising layouts on Shopify.
6. Quality Control
- Verify product data before going live (pricing, brands, conditions, measurements).
- Check visuals for consistency (cropping, background, Entrupy badge, condition labels).
- Report discrepancies or errors immediately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years experience in e-commerce
, preferably fashion or marketplaces. - Strong proficiency in Shopify
(must have experience, not basic). - Comfortable with Shopify apps and basic Liquid edits.
- Advanced Excel skills
(VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, data cleaning). - Experience working with product catalogs and high SKU volumes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment.
- High attention to detail — zero tolerance for errors in product uploads.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
- Familiarity with online shopping behaviors and Egypt's fashion e-commerce landscape is a plus.
