Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Process Lead at Fort Capital Group, based in Cairo, Egypt. The Process Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficiency in operations. Key tasks include monitoring workflow, implementing process improvements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols. The role demands strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in frozen potato / chips / fries production line, preferably in a lead or supervisory role
  • Capable of meeting fast-food / AAA grade product specs (color, size/length, moisture, defect rates).
  • Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety and quality certifications (ISO 22000, BRC, etc.).
  • Process optimization and process improvement experience.
  • Team leadership, collaboration, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control, safety protocols, and compliance standards relevant to the agro-food industry.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in supply chain management, production planning, and resource allocation are a plus.
