• Role Summary

The International & Internal Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing import operations, coordinating with international suppliers, handling logistics documentation, overseeing internal material movements, and managing employee transportation logistics. The role ensures efficient, timely, and cost-effective logistics operations across the company.

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Procurement Support & Supplier Management
• Analyze international raw material and commodity markets (pricing, availability, lead time).
• Monitor delivery costs, customs tariffs, and Incoterms.
• Compare supplier quotations considering logistics costs and risks.
• Prepare and manage RFQs for international suppliers.
• Track supplier compliance, shipment schedules, delivery dates, and payment terms.
• 2. Documentation & Compliance Control
• Maintain full documentation for import operations (invoices, packing lists, COO, certificates).
• Verify HS codes, Incoterms, and customs compliance.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure alignment with Nafeza system.
• Archive and maintain logistics documentation.
• 3. Logistics Analytics & Reporting
• Prepare monthly reports on delivery timelines and delays.
• Analyze logistics expenses and identify optimization opportunities.
• Forecast ETA and update internal departments regularly.
• 4. Process & System Improvement
• Support the development and updating of international logistics procedures.
• Identify optimal supply chain models and shipping methods (sea/air/road).
• Assist in integrating Nafeza and other external platforms.
• Maintain a database of logistics service providers.
• 5. Cross-Department Coordination
• Coordinate delivery dates with warehouse and production departments.
• Provide shipment updates to Finance.
• Liaise with Quality regarding certificates and documentation.
• Participate in remote supplier audits.
• 6. Additional Procurement Support
• Monitor global raw material markets and logistics service prices.
• Identify alternative suppliers and routes.
• Support delivery term negotiations.
• Maintain materials and supplier data on ERP.
• Follow up on purchase orders (PO follow-up).
• Support local procurement when needed.
• 7. Internal Logistics Control
• Coordinate internal movements of materials inside the facility.
• Manage transfers between warehouse, production, and support units.
• Ensure timely ERP/accounting entries for internal movements.
• Analyze internal logistics routes and propose improvements.
• 8. Employee Transportation Logistics
• 8.1 Route & Capacity Monitoring
• Monitor bus route occupancy and utilization.
• Maintain and optimize employee transportation schedules.
• Reduce idle mileage and increase route efficiency.
• 8.2 Vendor Management
• Ensure contractors follow schedules, routes, and contract terms.
• Collect and analyze employee feedback.
• Conduct regular audits of transport service quality.
• 9. Financial & Analytical Logistics Reporting
• 9.1 Full Logistics Cost Reporting
• Prepare monthly reports on all logistics expenses.
• Monitor costs for shipments, transportation, and contractor services.
• Analyze variances vs. budget.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• 9.2 Logistics Performance KPIs
• Prepare logistics KPIs (delivery timelines, punctuality, route adherence).
• Analyze route utilization and transportation efficiency.
• 9.3 Contract & Invoice Management
• Validate logistics/provider invoices.
• Verify calculations and contract compliance.
• Maintain a database of transportation costs.
• 10. Process Management & Compliance
• Develop and implement internal logistics and employee transportation procedures.
• Lead cost-optimization and efficiency-improvement projects.
• Maintain the logistics archive and ensure documentation accuracy.
