Responspilities:

  • Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify the
    electrical scope
    and project requirements.
  • Prepare
    quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs
    for electrical systems (Lighting, Power, Low Current, and Earthing systems).
  • Analyze
    supplier and subcontractor quotations
    , ensuring technical and commercial compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with
    design and technical teams
    to clarify project requirements and design assumptions.
  • Prepare
    technical and financial proposals
    in line with client requirements and submission deadlines.
  • Ensure full compliance with
    electrical codes, standards, and client specifications
    in all tender submissions.
  • Liaise with
    procurement
    to obtain competitive vendor quotations and technical data for electrical materials and equipment.
  • Participate in
    pre-tender and post-tender meetings
    with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Support
    value engineering exercises
    to optimize electrical system design and reduce cost without compromising performance.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of
    market rates, materials, and installation methods
    in electrical and MEP works.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience
    in tendering/estimation for
    MEP contracting companies
    .
  • Proficiency in
    estimation software and MS Excel
    .
  • Strong
    analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to
    work under pressure
    and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Expertise in:
  • Cost Control & BOQ Preparation
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
  • Technical Proposal Writing
  • Market Knowledge & Value Engineering
