We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
MV Tender Engineer
with
1 to 3 years of experience
, preferably with a background in
Siemens, Schneider, ABB, or similar MV switchgear systems
.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting
Medium Voltage (MV) electrical studies
, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring optimal and compliant solutions are offered to clients during the tendering phase.

This role requires deep knowledge of
MV distribution systems, protection schemes, MV switchgear technology
, and electrical design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Medium Voltage (MV) electrical studies, including short-circuit calculations, load flow analysis, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
  • Review tender specifications, drawings, and technical documents to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and cost-effective solutions for tenders and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Tendering teams to develop competitive and technically compliant offers.
  • Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to align on equipment specifications, vendor quotations, and material availability.
  • Ensure all designs comply with IEC standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Provide technical input for BOM preparation, SLDs, control schematics, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of MV equipment, protection relays, MV breakers, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare compliance sheets, technical submittals, and documentation required for approval processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in MV tendering, MV switchgear, or technical office engineering.
  • Familiarity with protection schemes, control circuits, and power distribution systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design and calculation software (e.g., ETAP, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of IEC standards and electrical regulations related to MV distribution.
  • Ability to interpret SLDs, panel layouts, protection schemes, and tender requirements.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
