Duties & Responsibilities

  • Specialists in the design, implementation, and support of unified communication solutions, including voice, video conferencing, messaging, and collaboration systems.
  • Ensures that UC platforms are reliable, scalable, and aligned with the organization's technology strategy while maintaining high levels of service and performance.
  • Manage deployment, configuration, and maintenance of UC platforms such as Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar.
  • Coordinate UC projects including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other enterprise platforms.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex voice and video issues.
  • Define and enforce best practices, policies, and standards for voice, video, and collaboration services.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, service level agreements (SLAs), and support contracts.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity for UC services.
  • Monitor performance, usage, and capacity trends to guide future planning and improvements.
  • Ensure documentation of architecture, configurations, and support procedures is maintained and current.

Experience & Qualifications

  • :Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • .5+ years of experience in UC technologie
  • sStrong hands-on experience with unified communication platforms (e.g., Avaya Aura, Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • .Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, QoS, SBCs, call routing, and video conferencing technologies
  • .Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects
  • .Relevant certifications (e.g., Avaya ACSS/ACIS, Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Collaboration) are a strong advantage
  • .Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills
  • .Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools is a plus
