Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior
BIM Architect Engineer
at
SUMMITS PMC
in El Dokki. The Senior BIM Architect Engineer will be responsible for project management, civil engineering, construction oversight, teamwork, and utilizing architecture expertise to deliver high-quality and sustainable projects.

Responsibilities

  • 4 to 8 years Experience
  • BIM modeling and coordination
  • Develop and deliver high-detail BIM models (LOD 400–500) for moderate to large-scale projects using Autodesk Revit
  • Demonstrates good coordination ability to address the needs and requirements of other disciplines
  • Perform clash detection and coordination between structural, architectural, and MEP models using tools like Navisworks
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project success by following BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
  • Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows
  • Follow international and internal BIM standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM model
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for architectural projects
  • Create and manage BIM models for design, coordination, and construction documentation support the creation of as-built documentation
  • Generate construction documents, drawings, and specifications from BIM models
  • Create accurate construction BIM models
  • Produce organized architectural drawing sets for various construction stages and participate in discipline reviews
  • Review client modifications to ensure each project's overall design standards follow the company's policies, standards, and regulations, as per contract, including any approved amendments aware of Saudi Arabian, Egyptian- International-codes and local regulations
  • Review project Architectural drawings and specifications
  • Identify conflicts, incomplete or unclear design information
  • Provide /assist in Architectural BIM trainings
  • Work with BIM collaboration tools like BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud for seamless team communication and project integration
  • Assist in quality control processes and provide guidance to junior team members, if applicable

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
  • Proficiency in BIM software and tools
  • AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks & Microsoft Office is a must.
  • Project Management and Teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience in sustainable design and Modern Methods of Construction
