To follow up on all the activities related to analyzing and planning the available resources allocation in order to meet forecasted demand in the most effective and efficient way. It also includes controlling the types and quantities of materials they purchase, plan which products are to be produced and in what quantities
.

Responsibilities

  • Plan manufacturing, delivery schedules and purchasing activities.
  • Analyze requirements and place purchase orders.
  • Follow up on the short-term plans that will be the reference of the Monthly S&OP.
  • Communicate with the Sales in order to fulfill Sales weekly demand.
  • Coordinates any changes & updates requirements for the Sales Demand.
  • Communicate with purchasing department to ensure the necessary materials to meet the production plan.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain adequate stock levels to ensure sales requirements are delivered.
  • Maintain the lowest possible level of inventory.
  • Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials, or planning control measures.
  • Record inventory data, including inventory shortages, excess inventory and end-of-life materials.
  • Daily monitoring of production output versus stock levels, Customer demand and production schedules.
  • Following up on Production Compliance Reports in accordance with the pre-determined weekly Plan.
  • Modify the production plan and communicate it with the involved parties.
  • Prepares all types of required reports.
  • To develop, implement and review the department operational control procedures.
  • Handle and finalize any task requested by the direct manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, statistics, or similar fields.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in an electrical company or FMCG is preferable.
  • Good in spoken and written English and Arabic languages.
  • Knowledge of the SAP system is a plus.
