Production Planning Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Production Planner
to join our Planning team and ensure smooth production flow, accurate scheduling, and on-time customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop daily & weekly
    production schedules
    based on MRP/SAP requirements.
  • -Create and release
    production orders
    using SAP (PP Module) and update them based on material availability.
  • Review
    BOMs, routings, capacity loads
    , and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Conduct material availability checks, identify shortages, and coordinate with Procurement & Stores.
  • Maintain optimal
    inventory levels
    , safety stock, and follow up on slow-moving/obsolete items.
  • Track production KPIs:
    productivity, downtime, line efficiency, OTD (On-Time Delivery)
    .
  • Monitor order progress on production lines and resolve planning bottlenecks.
  • Communicate schedules and updates with Production, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams.
  • Support cost planning and prepare production reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Participate in
    process improvement
    and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Production Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
    .
  • 1–3 years of experience
    as a Production Planner or in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of
    MRP/MRP-II, MPS, BOM, Routing, Capacity Planning
    .
  • ERP experience (preferably
    SAP PP
    ) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP – Pivot Tables – Formulas).
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work under pressure.
