Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
with a strong background in the travel and tourism industry to oversee and optimize daily operations across all service lines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing booking operations, customer service, supplier coordination, and process optimization, ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full daily operations of travel services including flight bookings, hotel reservations, visas, and corporate travel accounts.
  • Manage, develop, and lead operations, ticketing, and customer service teams.
  • Monitor booking accuracy, refunds, cancellations, and reissues to ensure compliance with airline and company policies.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely, professional resolution.
  • Coordinate with airlines, global distribution systems (GDS), hotels, and external service providers.
  • Continuously review and improve operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Track operational KPIs, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Prepare operational performance reports for senior management.
  • Control operational costs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and quality standards.
  • Support system implementation, automation, and process digitization initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5–10 years of experience
    in travel operations, preferably in online travel agencies, corporate travel, or airline-related services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    GDS systems
    (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Solid knowledge of airline ticketing, fare rules, reissues, refunds, exchanges, and special services.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
