Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Professional Services Engineer to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on VMware virtualization, Nutanix HCI, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Commvault data protection. The role involves delivering professional services projects for customers, ensuring high-quality deployments, smooth migrations, and efficient handovers to operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

-Solution Design & Implementation

-Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, including clusters, HA, vSAN, and vCenter.

-Implement and optimize Nutanix HCI solutions for compute and storage virtualization.

-Configure and manage Veeam Backup & Replication for virtual and physical environments.

-Deploy and integrate Commvault backup, recovery, and archiving solutions across diverse platforms (VMs, databases, cloud workloads).

Professional Services Delivery

Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, including requirements gathering, planning, installation, migration, and testing.

Conduct system upgrades, expansions, and performance tuning.

Ensure compliance with vendor best practices, security standards, and customer requirements.

Customer Engagement

Work closely with clients to understand their business and technical requirements.

Provide technical workshops, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer IT teams.

Act as a trusted advisor on infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Support & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to virtualization, storage, and backup platforms.

Collaborate with vendors (VMware, Nutanix, Veeam, Commvault) for escalated support cases.

Develop and maintain detailed deployment and troubleshooting documentation.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

-3–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure implementation.

Strong knowledge of:

-VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, HA/DRS, SRM preferred).

Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Files, networking).

-Veeam Backup & Replication (installation, configuration, backup/restore, replication, SureBackup, Cloud Connect).

-Commvault (Complete Backup & Recovery, Command Center, agents, deduplication, cloud backup, disaster recovery).

-Experience with storage systems, networking fundamentals, and Windows/Linux servers.

-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
