About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Virtualization Engineer
to join our team and manage enterprise-grade virtualization environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware and Nutanix technologies, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operations and proactive monitoring of virtualized environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage
    VMware DCV (vSphere)
    ,
    VxRail HCI
    ,
    RP4VM
    ,
    Virtual SAN (vSAN)
    , and
    Nutanix AHV/DP
    .
  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
  • Execute migrations between virtualization platforms.
  • Manage SSL certificates and implement security hardening measures.
  • Apply patches and workarounds to mitigate risks and address vulnerabilities reported by SOC, CS, VA/PT teams, and regulatory bodies.
  • Respond to requests from Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, and business teams.
  • Ensure integration and interoperability with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Manage data protection and disaster recovery solutions (Replication, Failover, DR testing).
  • Oversee license and lifecycle management for software and hardware.
  • Participate in change management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with
    VMware vSphere
    ,
    VxRail
    ,
    vSAN
    , and
    Nutanix AHV
    .
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization security, patching, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with SSL certificate management and security hardening.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong documentation and change management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware and Nutanix certifications (VCP, NCP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with high availability and compliance requirements.
