We're Hiring: Planning Engineer (3–6 Years Experience)

MOHAMED ABOUSAMRA DESIGNS, a leading Architecture and Interior Design Company in Egypt is expanding its project management team.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Planning Engineer

to join our growing organization and contribute to the successful execution of our diverse residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

This position plays a vital role in
project scheduling, performance monitoring, and resource coordination

, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Track progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and time impact analyses.
  • Monitor resource allocation (labor, materials, and equipment) to optimize productivity.
  • Support project management in forecasting, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
  • Participate in client meetings and assist in preparing time extension and recovery plans when required.
  • Ensure that all project documentation and schedules comply with contractual and company requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Civil Engineering

Architecture

, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience

as a Planning Engineer within the
construction, finishing, or fit-out industry

.
- Proficiency in
Primavera P6

,
MS Project

, and
MS Office applications

.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, critical path analysis, and progress measurement systems.
- Solid understanding of construction sequences, methods, and resource planning.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities with project and site teams.
