Job Description

We are looking for a motivated purchasing specialist to manage our company's procurement activities. The purchasing specialist's responsibilities include sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance. The purchasing specialist will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies.

Schedule
: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Location:
 Maadi (onsite)

Salary:
 8,000 EGP

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and processing purchase orders
  • Sourcing and evaluating new suppliers
  • Negotiating purchase terms and agreements
  • Managing supplier performance and ensuring compliance with purchase terms
  • Collaborating with internal departments to understand procurement needs
  • Verifying and reconciling discrepancies in purchase orders and requisitions
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
  • Previous work experience in the purchasing/procurement field is preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to verify and reconcile discrepancies in procurement documents.
  • Detail oriented and responsible
