About the Role:

We are seeking a
Technical Product Owner with strong expertise in Payments
to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative payment solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring our payment platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product backlog for the payments domain (card payments, digital wallets, payment gateways, bank transfers, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and deliver payment solutions with high performance, security, and compliance.
  • Work with stakeholders (business, compliance, risk, operations, partners) to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive integration with external payment providers, gateways, and fintech partners.
  • Monitor and analyze payment performance metrics, fraud rates, and customer experience to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated on payment trends, new technologies, and emerging regulations to keep the product competitive.

Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of experience as a
    Product Owner / Business Analyst / Technical Product Manager
    in the
    Payments domain
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    payment processing flows
    (authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks).
  • Experience with
    APIs, SDKs, and payment gateway integrations
    (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, Adyen).
  • Knowledge of
    PCI-DSS, tokenization, encryption, and fraud prevention mechanisms
    .
  • Ability to write
    technical user stories
    and collaborate effectively with development teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience working in
    Agile/Scrum environments
    .
  • Fluent in English.
