Responsibilities
- Responsible for all finished goods moves from beverages and Snacks manufacturing locations to all distribution centers (Owned or 3rd party) as per the deployment plans received from the deployment planning function.
- Responsible for all raw & packaging materials, Returnable Bottles & Pallets shipment from Warehouses & Distribution Centers to the Manufacturing Plants.
- Responsible for moving Alahram beverages product from receiving locations to Distributors
- Manage all 3rd party transportation providers to insure on time delivery of products or materials with no delays and with the proper guidelines.
- Insure all Quality requirements are strictly adhered to in all freight operations.
- Setting the transportation strategy for both market units (Beverages & Snacks) in accordance with company objectives and priorities through developing and implementing COLT (Company Owned Logistics Trucks) best practice and processes.
- Leading on Yearly Primary Distribution Budget (OPEX) through managing operations of company owned trucks and 3PL trucks to ensure all expenses are meeting or ahead of AOP.
- Team up with Demand and Supply planning team in preparing StratPlan (3-year) and AOP (1-year) deployment budgets in co-ordination with the sourcing matrices and network optimization.
- Driving transportation year over year productivity agenda by submitting productivity and cost avoidance projects.
- Ensuring the achievements of the company objectives to be in line with the governing policies with regards to COLT
- Analyzing, developing, and leading all required corrective action plans and activities with different functions to close any identified deviations regarding primary cost and primary deployment plans
- Implementation of Global logistics tools example: gTMS
- Work with fleet management on maintenance schedules and plans to insure trucks readiness at all time.
- Work with fleet management on yearly readiness plan to ensure conforming to all governmental regulations and licenses.
- Team up with HSE team to develop all trucks and drivers safety requirements and performance measurement tools to ensure maintain safe working environment
- Preparing and submitting timely manner reports with all key performance indicators to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- +10 years' experience in logistics/supply chain Operating Environment.
- High analytical skills
- High computer skills.
- Experience working in ERP environment.
- Good in both Arabic and English language written and spoken.
- Strong Negotiation skills.
- Leadership capabilities
