Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with a strong background in engineering to champion our advanced testing instruments. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise to solve client challenges in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to after-sales support, building lasting partnerships with our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
Proactively generate new leads, qualify prospects, and close sales to consistently meet and exceed targets. - Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling our product portfolio. - Technical Consultation & Demonstration:
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations. Serve as the primary technical advisor to clients, understanding their QA/QC and Environmental Monitoring needs to recommend the best instrument solutions. - Post-Sales Support:
Provide comprehensive after-sales support, including customer training on instrument operation and initial troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Market Intelligence:
Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer requirements, and opportunities for differentiation. - Sales Operations & Forecasting:
Prepare timely sales reports, activity logs, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline in our CRM system. Contribute to sales forecasts with data-driven insights. - Proposal & Quotation Management:
Prepare and deliver technical proposals and commercial quotations to customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales and Manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of testing instruments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with engineers and decision-makers.
- Owning a car for ease of mobility is highly preferred.
