Influence Communication is seeking to hire a professional "Media Relations Account Executive/Sr. Account Executive" with by the following criteria:

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
  • Support in pitching stories, news releases, interviews, and other content to secure earned media coverage.
  • Coordinate media opportunities such as press conferences, interviews, and media briefings.
  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of corporate news, announcements, and briefings to targeted media contacts.
  • Ensure timely and consistent messaging across all channels, including digital platforms.
  • Support the development of communication, media, and internal briefings for spokespersons.
  • Assist in preparing and executing communication and media plans during crises or sensitive issues.
  • Coordinate internal messaging and external media statements to ensure consistency and accuracy of crisis management.
  • Collaborate with agency teams to gather, analyze, and present survey data for media and stakeholder insights.
  • Provide reports on media trends, public sentiment, and competitor activity.

Professional / Academic requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
  • From 0-3 years of experience in media relations within a PR agency or a related industry.
  • Excellent client management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability as a proactive member and show high level of team work skills.
