Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Planning Engineer
to oversee project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
construction or industrial projects
, with expertise in project control systems and scheduling software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using
Primavera P6/MS Project - Monitor project progress, identify delays, and provide corrective action plans
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Prepare and present reports on project performance, risks, and forecasting
- Optimize resource allocation and manage cost control strategies
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend schedule adjustments when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
in Civil Engineering, Construction Management. - 5+ years
of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction. - Expertise in
Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control methodologies - Strong understanding of
contract management (FIDIC, NEC) and risk assessment - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
