About the company

Home Gate Construction is a growing Egyptian construction & engineering firm delivering residential, commercial and industrial projects from design through handover. You'll work across multiple projects and coordinate directly with Project Managers and Heads of Delivery.

Role overview

Lead planning & schedule control for multiple building projects: create/maintain baseline schedules, update reports (S-curves, progress vs. plan), resource histograms, cash-flow forecasts, and implement recovery plans. Ensure timely, data-driven decisions and clear communication with PMs, procurement and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain master / detailed schedules (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
  • Produce periodic schedule updates: progress, S-curve, earned value summaries, and highlight critical path / risks.
  • Prepare resource histograms and cost-loaded cash-flow forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement and Site teams to align deliverables and resources.
  • Propose and manage recovery plans when schedule slippage occurs.
  • Supervise/mentor junior planners and ensure consistent scheduling standards (WBS, coding).
  • Support tender planning and time estimates when required.

Qualifications & skills

  • B.Sc. in Civil / Construction / Architectural Engineering.
  • +3-5 years
    planning experience in building/construction projects (multi-project exposure preferred).
  • Advanced
    Primavera P6
    (or MS Project) + strong Excel (macros / formulas / pivot tables).
  • Strong understanding of CPM, Earned Value Management (EVM), S-curves and cash-flow.
  • Ability to produce clear client reports and present schedule scenarios.
  • Fluent Arabic; good English (technical reporting).
  • PMP / Planning certification and exposure to BIM schedule coordination — advantage.

  • Experience with ERP or construction management systems, and experience across finishing/MEP works.
