Key Responsibilities:

1. HSE Policy & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with Egyptian regulations, ISO standards, and Golden Gate's operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory safety and environmental laws, codes, and best practices.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in safety management systems.

2. Risk Management & Auditing

  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and environmental compliance checks across all Golden Gate facilities.
  • Lead risk assessments and hazard identification processes, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and permit-to-work systems.

3. Training & Awareness

  • Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, service providers, and contractors.
  • Lead emergency response drills (fire, evacuation, medical emergencies) in coordination with security and facility management teams.
  • Promote safety and environmental awareness through campaigns, toolbox talks, and community programs.

4. Incident Management

  • Lead investigations into all HSE incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
  • Maintain accurate records and report findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.

5. Sustainability & Environmental Protection

  • Oversee implementation of waste management, energy efficiency, and pollution prevention measures.
  • Monitor compliance with sustainability goals and coordinate with the Sustainability Officer on joint initiatives.
  • Ensure environmental impact assessments are performed when needed.

6. Vendor & Contractor Oversight

  • Evaluate HSE performance of all service providers and contractors, integrating safety compliance into their performance reviews.
  • Review vendor HSE plans before project mobilization and monitor their adherence during operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electro-Mechanical) or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in HSE management, preferably in large-scale mixed-use or commercial developments.
  • Certified in
    NEBOSH and OSHA
    is a must
    ISO 45001
    is a plus also environmental management standards (ISO 14001 preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian HSE regulations and international safety frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage across multiple stakeholders.
