Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (2 years) to ensure a safe and healthy work environment at our steel manufacturing plant. You will implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies in compliance with local and international standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop preventive action plans.
  • Supervise the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Oversee emergency response procedures and evacuation drills.
  • Prepare incident and accident reports, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver training and awareness programs for employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Certified in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA / NEBOSH or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Strong observation, analytical, and reporting skills
