Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Environmental and Social Expert based in Cairo, Egypt. The individual in this role will be responsible for conducting environmental and social impact assessments, managing water resources, ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) standards, and providing expert input on environmental science and engineering matters. They will collaborate with project teams to ensure projects meet regulatory and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Science
  • Knowledge of Environmental Engineering and Water Resource Management
  • Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and compliance
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management and stakeholder engagement
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in transport infrastructure projects is an advantage
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or other relevant languages is a plus
