**Title: Customs Clearance Specialist**

Location: Cairo, Egypt

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Customs Clearance of raw materials/machines/spare parts in the shortest lead time
- Customs Clearance at the optimum cost
- Cost optimization through tariffs reduction by checking alternative sources with bilateral / preferential trade agreements
- Ensure supply through on time payment to suppliers.
- Follow up on blocked & parked invoices and account management are key activities
- Improve storage and demurrage cost through networking with clearing agents, and shipping lines. Regular meetings, sharing scorecards are key activities ++networking with decision makers in the Import & Export authority
- Daily Follow up activities:

- Managing Customs Payments 2) Customs Documentation follow up 3) Contact shipping lines to follow up on consignments 4) Work with clearing agents on the release of consignments 5- Plan dispatches from Port to WH / factory within allowed capacities

**ARE YOU A FIT?**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field.
- 1 - 2 Years of Experience
- Good understanding in Egyptian laws and Regulations governing
- Excellent Communication skills.
