The Business Channels Manager drives the performance of the assigned business channels including Retail, Private Health Insurance, & Tenders with Sales and Marketing responsibility. The BCM is to expand strategic relationships with assigned channel partners in alignment with commercial team and the overall AZ strategy. The job scope entails the entire range of company products to be delivered through the assigned channels though may focus on specific solutions or products set as priority to drive company growth & ranking. The position holder collaborates across the different lines and BUs to identify the business opportunities and to ensure Therapy Area Leadership across the different channels.

**What you’ll do**
- Manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders (internal & external) in different business channels to deliver revenue, profitability & market share growth
- Develop annual business channels plan (marketing, promotional & commercial) in alignment with BUDs and marketers to achieve & exceeds growth targets per channel
- Lead cross-functional teams including different stakeholders (sales, marketing, Medical, Market access & KAM) to drive execution of strategic business plan to achieve business objectives
- Build a strategic vision and plan for pharmacy retail business to drive sales, growth and being the most preferred partner
- Work with commercial stakeholders and finance team to set brands discount strategy, plan & timelines
- Drive digital transformation of tender business to maximize efficiency, productivity & compliance of all tender business-related business & processes
- Establish & use metrics to assess and report performance of promotional & commercial programs and communicate regularly with SLT
- Develop team capabilities & competencies through coaching& personal development to match market dynamics & fit for future organizational’ s requirements
- Articulate authentic commitment to diversity of representation, psychological safety, empowerment of others and focus on team cohesion
- Show awareness of personal bias and attentiveness to other’s cultures with open mindset, curiosity and empathy

Applicants should possess the following qualifications to go through initial screening:

- Minimum 3 years in commercial role, with managing managers scope
- Substantial sales management experience, with solid marketing acumen
- In-depth understanding of the Health Care eco system & related key dynamics
- Solid understanding of business channels management and product commercialization processes
- Ability to manage diversified functions, sales, marketing, commercial channels
- Effective at building relationships w KDMs/accounts with strong customer centricity
- Driving force in Cross functional collaboration
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading, teaming & driving results through others
- Strong at building strategies of execution that align with overall AZ strategy and priorities.
- Proven Results orientation
- Experience with simplification of processes, & driving digitalization & processes optimization (preferred)
- A&P budget management (preferred)
