**The Position**:
We are hiring a National Business Manager, who will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance sales organization to effectively achieve defined business success and strategy implementation within Libya & Sudan.

The position is based at Cairo, Egypt; and reports to the Business Unit Head.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Drive sales and market share target achievements, maximizing the number of appropriate patients that receive Boehringer Ingelheim products
- Review and analyze Country performance creating appropriate strategies/plans to maximize available opportunities
- Lead and develop its people by providing guidance, coaching and appropriate knowledge in a team of high level of engagement
- Ensure that optimal sales processes are in place by defining, allocating and approving sales targets for Sales Representatives
- Lead total adherence with company policy, procedures and rules, performing all company business in accordance with the local policies

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors in pharmaceuticals or related medical degree
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience including 3 years people management/project management experience is required in multinational pharmaceutical environment
- Experience in Libya and other North African region is preferable
- Prior marketing experience and good understanding of marketing strategy desirable
- Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team
- Business fluent in English, in its oral and written form
- Business fluent in French, in its oral and written form is desirable
- Autonomy, decisiveness, sense of urgency and ability to resolve and overcome hurdles and challenges
- Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and budget to meet objectives
- Strategic development, project management, key account management, problem solving, and change management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills
