Partner / Channel Sales Manager - Enterprise Data

Be part of our growing team Working with us as a Channel Sales Manager for a very promising Enterprise Data Protection Vendor.
The Channel Manager is accountable for creating and developing the channel strategy in the Enterprise Data Protection market space.
This strategy encompasses a comprehensive channel landscape, which will serve and contribute to the territory revenue targets and pipeline creation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to forecast internally and with our partners, all revenue streams.
- Plans and executes lead generation activities with the distributor, insuring maximum return on investment.
- Monitors overall forecast and key opportunities to insure proper progress towards timely closure occurs.
- Lead the partners’ relations in alignment with the company’s management and strategy;
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing channels/clients to expand sales in the assigned territory;
- Define and implement the channel strategy and roadmap of the assigned service/product’s line in alignment with the management;
- Build and maintain a solid channel/customer database, analyze data and develop metrics evaluating loyalty and new opportunities;
- Specify market requirements for current and future services/products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to existing and potential customers;
- Track credit and/or payment performance, review outstanding settlements and manage resolutions accordingly;
- Generate channel sales for the entire service/product line in terms of long-term revenue and profitability;
- Secure the highest level of engagement and support to channel partners and respond to issues and/or queries in order to efficiently meet customers’ needs;
- Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives;
- Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities, monitor progress and raise recommendations as and when necessary;
**Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable job experience
- 7-10+ years channel experience required
- 2-5 year Background in software required
- Must be well versed in managing distribution sales, operations and marketing functions and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships within distributor vertically and horizontally.
- Strong complex-business issue management solving skills.
- Knowledge of server and storage management software is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage sales pipeline and give weekly updates to management.
- Strategic thinker
- Executes quarterly business reviews with distributor, focusing on achievement of revenue, operational excellence, training, lead-generation and relationship objectives are met and planned.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
