**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity SIEM Engineer to join our team at ITS Information Technology Solutions. This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and optimize our SIEM solution, ensuring the security of our information systems.

**Salary Range:** $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • SIEM Administration: Ensure the efficient operation of our SIEM solution, including IBM Q-Radar administration and configuration.
  • Log Management: Add log sources to SIEM, develop custom integrations, and monitor activities to identify potential security threats.
  • Use Case Development: Create and implement use cases to detect and respond to security incidents, mapping them to industry-standard frameworks such as MITRE, NIST 800-53, and CBE.
  • Threat Hunting: Develop advanced SIEM rules to enhance visibility and detection capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve SIEM-related issues, collaborating with support teams as needed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills, with excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Windows Domain, network architecture, and multi-tier application architectures.
  • SIEM solution administration experience (preferably IBM Q-Radar).
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory Services, TCP/IP Based Networking Principles, Microsoft/Linux Operating Systems, Firewalls and Perimeter Security, Proxies and Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and industry-standard network management tools.
