We are seeking a proficient Web Stack Automation Specialist at ITS Information Technology Solutions. The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing front-end, back-end, and integration layers of full web stack applications with the ability to implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Full Stack Testing:
  • Test the front-end (UI/UX), back-end (APIs, databases), and integration layers of web stack applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, compatibility, and security testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Automation Framework Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated test suites across the web stack using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
Tool and Technology Utilization:
  • Use test management tools such as TestLink, XRAY, or JIRA to organize and report testing activities.
  • Leverage API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) to test RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Conduct database testing, including data validation and schema integrity checks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing of full web stack applications.
  • Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL for testing purposes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their impact on testing.
  • Familiarity with containerized applications and testing in Docker environments.
