Business Development Manager

**Responsibilities and challenges**:
- Grow sales of Yale branded products and smart residential solutions in local market by developing & implementing effective sales and go to market strategies.
- Identify, manage & develop strong multi-channel sales (incl traditional channel partners such as local distribution partners, retail and E-Commerce). Agree product ranging, pricing & supply chain solutions.
- Drive sales and profitable development in all channels in Egypt in line with the group Global Brand Strategy. With end-to-end approach: identify business potentials, manage negotiations and contracting, launch of partnerships and further growth and development.
- Manage the growth and monetization of existing & new partners, coordinate with partners to prioritize, plan and manage business activities. Develop relevant KPI’s and monitor success on continuous basis.
- Influence and support ASSA ABLOY OS sales units in the local markets through effective range management and marketing support. Ensure nature and SuccessFactors of B2C and B2B2C business are well implemented and further developed.
- Support the growth of Smart Residential products and drive sales of the eco-system across the markets. Ensure professional customer support and service is implemented in the markets and drive further development.
- Support and develop local teams on their Yale and residential solutions product portfolios ensuring they are aware of all product offerings and unlocking synergies where possible.
- Ensure the Yale brand is appropriately positioned in the market versus competitor products and other ASSA ABLOY brands whilst ensuring the brand manual and guidelines are being always adhered to. Actively participate and lead rebranding activities with related team.
- Identify potential new business development areas for Yale and Smart Residential solutions in Egypt, creating a generation plan and recommending the ideal routes to market. Transfer regional market needs, trends and possibilities to Yale MEIIA and central Yale EMEIA teams.
- Support local markets to develop realistic yet challenging annual business plans and budgets. Understand local market mechanisms and review performance on regular basis (e.g. monthly follow ups etc.)
- Build powerful internal relationships and networks and act as an ambassador for the Yale brand and residential solutions. Participate in international co-operations to leverage potentials on Yale branded products.
**Background and personal qualities**:
- Educated to degree level with at least 10 years’ experience working in and developing markets.
- Experience of working with & developing in B2C and B2B2C environment, background in retail and distribution business.
- Strong understanding of and proven success in Retail, E-Commerce and multi-channel approach, Project Specification experience is a big advantage
- Clear evidence of achieving targets and delivering growth.
- Understanding of business procedures in Finance, Marketing, Procurement, business planning and contract management
- Solid understanding of partnerships and alliances and how they can create value for the business
- Technologically savvy and familiarity with the Smart Home market
- Strong background in consumer electronics or home improvement categories.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain preferably including involvement in outsourcing initiatives.
- Understanding of product & range management.
- Experience of working in a branded business and consumer marketing
- Proven international working ability
