**The team - Group Finance**

Oterra was recently acquired by EQT and consequently carved out from the previous owner, Chr. Hansen. The Finance organisation at Oterra plays a crucial role in relation to the company's continued success. The team is based at the company headquarters, located in Hoersholm, Denmark. This role, however, will mainly be based in our operational offices in Avedøre, Denmark, where most of the main stakeholders sit. As a Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to Head of Business Finance, Kim Laage Saltoft Olsen.

**The role - Finance Business Partner**

As PSP, you will step into a small and dynamic team that is involved in many business-critical projects and that will evolve with Oterra in the years to come. You will be offered the exciting challenge of being a constructive sparring partner to the business, acting the primary finance business partner for Oterra’s production and global supply chain management teams as well as select corporate functions.

We are looking for a Business Partner who can assist the organization in ensuring a smooth and excellent build-up on the back of the carve-out, while supporting the future growth by guiding the business’ decision making in a credible, reliable, and professional manner.

You will be the Plant Controller for Oterra’s largest production site in Avedøre, Copenhagen as well as the Finance Business Partner for the Global Supply Chain function. Further to this, you will lead the global best practice in collaboration with our local plant controllers and be the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Plant Controlling, covering all Oterra sites around the World (12 sites in total).

**Is it you we are looking for?**

As PSP you will be expected to lead the Oterra performance management processes in your respective functional areas. This includes controlling and reporting, ongoing performance reviews, and forecasting and budgeting. Projects, tasks, and issues within your respective areas relating to Business Finance will also be part of your work.

The responsibilities and primary duties associated with the position will be:

- Act as a trusted advisor to members of site management team and selected corporate functions,
- Play a key role in building the future global Oterra performance management process and the enhance the Business Intelligence suite for Production and Supply Chain in close collaboration with the analytical resources in the business,
- Review and understand the actual performance on all relevant KPIs compared to budgets and plans and uncover emerging risks and opportunities,
- Business analysis and cost control,
- Preparation of monthly plant outlook, including deviation analysis to budget,
- Timely and accurate preparation of financial management reporting for the Plant (incl. KPI reporting, analysis and trends),
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to Management team resulting from analysis and based on this make proposals for correction and improvements,
- Analyze and provide guidance to the cost reduction initiatives in the plant,
- Preparation of annual budget and ensure that it meets the targets provided by BU controlling/management - as well as securing correct standard cost of the products, and
- Support the organization with ad hoc analysis.

As an owner, EQT is ambitious on behalf of Oterra and is constantly looking for relevant acquisitions in the market. As PSP, you can expect to be involved in the merger and the subsequent integration of systems, reporting and processes.
